Studies have shown that long-term success in maintaining sobriety can be directly correlated to a longer residency in a supportive, sober living environment.

Residents must maintain steady employment or pursue higher education, unless disabled, in which case we highly encourage volunteerism.

All residents participate in two house meetings weekly, one of which is a Big Book study.

The Lighthouse embraces the 12-step philosophy as a basis for recovery and attendance at outside meetings is a requirement of residency.  We accept attendance at Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) as well as Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Celebrate Recovery.  We also support other spiritually based programs of recovery and church attendance or Bible study qualifies to meet your meeting requirement.

This is a program of action and residents are required to participate in their own recovery.
